Beth Raymond witnesses two of her best friends’ death just days apart. And, coincidentally, both people received terrifying messages also on their cell phones, sounding like moments recorded at that exact moment of the death. Although it seems like a crazy story, the person who believes her is Detective Jack Andrews, who helps her in figuring out who’s hiding behind those demonic voice mails.

Sossamon is a pleasing heroine, plus the always brilliant Wise - making the most of his tiny role. Almost old-fashioned, the movie is a good candidate for the family viewing–and spooky enough, giving you all the horror bumps you need.

Terrifying experience, yet educative… The world is not fair, you should watch out even for your own relatives. The movie gives you a cruel life lesson. It’s hard to keep your soul pure…

Robert Redford directs and stars in this provocative ode to political activism. Meanwhile, a history professor (Redford) is trying to convince one of his more promising students to strive to make a difference in the world. Professor Malley believes Todd Hayes (Andrew Garfield) to be a bright young man, and he wants to know why Todd has become so apathetic about his schoolwork, and, after the two banter back and forth about the nature of activism, Malley tells him about two of his former students, Ernest and Arian (Michael Pena and Derek Luke), both of whom are currently serving in Iraq. Unbeknownst to Malley, at that very moment, Ernest and Arian are engaging in the exact military strategy that Senator Irving is discussing with Roth. Their mission has just gone terribly awry, and the men have fallen into enemy territory. So the senator and journalist argue, the professor and student debate, and all the while the wounded soldiers wait desperately for rescue. These disparate storylines slowly build and converge, culminating in a blaring statement about civic responsibility and social conscience. Cruise and Streep are a delight to watch, and their battle of words gives the most heat to the film. As one might expect, it casts an extremely critical eye at the current state of American politics. However, it veers toward hope, and a call to action. Redford, himself a longtime activist, appears to be sending an open letter to America: turn off the celebrity coverage and get involved.

There’s strong comic support also from both Dylan Moran as the best friend of Dennis, Gordon (their amusing fight scene is quite a highlight), and from Harrish Patel playing his landlord-turned-trainer.

A hugely enjoyable film, amazingly acted and emotionally engaging, filled with laugh-out-loud gags.

True love isn’t a sprint. It’s a marathon.

So, while unorthodox headmistress Camilla Fritton tries to deal with the brand new Education Minister Geoffrey Thwaites’ (Colin Firth) non-stop advances and his firm objective of transforming this chaotic establishment into respectable ‘ladies’ college, this responsibility for saving the St Trinian’s from its creditors falls now to the anarchic pupils. These fearless girls got together a motley crew of associates, teachers and the rest of the school‘s uninhibited pranksters, who, when they’re using wit, sass, ingenuity and determination, attempt of pulling off the ‘robbery’ of the century and save the school up from impending bankruptcy.

So, can their mixed cunning and lack of shame really save the day before school’s out – for good?
