Rather disappointing comic-strip adventure from director Ang Lee which, much like its troubled hero, shifts awkwardly between brain and brawn - Bana’s moody contemplation of childhood trauma never quite feels like it belongs in the same movie as a CGI behemoth chucking tanks around. Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
It is 3 years after the Battle of Geonosis… Politican Chancellor Palpatine has been kidnapped by General Grevious, the evil commander of the Droid Army and renegade Jedi Count Dooku. Anakin learns Chancellor Palpatine is the mysterious Sith Lord Darth Sidious and is the mastermind behind the war, and he converts Anakin to the Dark Side and Anakin becomes the evil Sith Lord known as Darth Vader, believing the powers of the Dark Side will save Padme from death. With Anakin turned to the Dark Side, could this mean the fall of the Republic and the end of the Jedi Order?

Magnificently referencing everything from Akira Kurosawa’s SEVEN SAMURAI and THE HIDDEN FORTRESS to THE WIZARD OF OZ to John Ford Westerns and Joseph Campbell philosophies, STAR WARS revolutionized the cinematic world with its epic storytelling and amazing special effects. In addition to film veterans Guinness and Cushing, the movie also features an unforgettable performance from the young Ford, who would, of course, go on to become one of the biggest stars of the silver screen. In 1997 a special edition of the film was digitally remastered with enhanced visual and sound effects. In this, the second Batman movie, megalomaniac businessman Max Shreck sets a plot against Gotham City in motion. He is joined by Penguin, a deformed and rather deranged man abandoned at birth by respectable parents. Penguin, backed by hoodlums and real penguins, runs for mayor. The plot is further complicated by Selena, a wronged secretary who transforms into Catwoman, a villain with mixed motives.
In a change of pace, Sam and Dean decide to star in a violent, profane reality show named Ghostfacers. The show takes them to the haunted Morton Mansion, and they soon realize they’re in over their heads.

The passage from our world to a fantasy kingdom of Stormhold is via a breech in some wall right beside a village in England. In the 1800s, the boy becomes a true man when he pursuits a fallen star, venturing through the breech, to prove his undivided love for the village beauty. That star is really no lump of rock, it is a maiden, Yvaine. So, Tristan, the youth, is not exactly the only person looking for her: three witches, with Lamia leading, want her heart for make them young again; and the dead king of Stormhold sons want her also because she’s holding a ruby that can give one of them the throne title. Tristan’s mother (the victim of a spell, plus a transvestite sky pirate) is assisting him. The great question is… Tristan will be able to win his true and only love?
Mother of Tears: The Third Mother (International: English title)
An ancient urn is found in a cemetery outside Rome. Once opened, it triggers a series of violent incidents: robberies, rapes and murders increase dramatically, while several mysterious, evil-looking young women coming from all over the world are gathering in the city. All these events are caused by the return of Mater Lacrimarum, the last of three powerful witches who have been spreading terror and death for centuries. Alone against an army of psychos and demons, Sarah Mandy, an art student who seems to have supernatural abilities of her own, is the only person left to prevent the Mother of Tears from destroying Rome.
A scientist from the failed Philadelphia Experiment leads a team of Navy SEALs back in time to the Cretaceous Period to rescue the first team he sent back during the 1940s. Things go wildly awry though, when on his return he accidentally brings a giant, man-eating dinosaur back through the portal and into modern-day, downtown Los Angeles.
This live-action/computer-animated update of Ross Bagdasarian’s squeaky-voiced cartoon characters finds the chipmunks (in CGI form) transported from their woodland habitat to the city, where they wind up in the home of Dave Seville (Jason Lee). Dave, a down-on-his-luck songwriter, realizes the potential of a singing chipmunk pop act, and becomes an unlikely mentor/father figure to feisty Alvin, brainy Simon, and dopey Theodore. Meanwhile, the threesome causes chaos in his life, leading to plenty of fun, frenetic scenarios. When a devious record executive (David Cross) enters the picture, however, Alvin and the Chipmunks must deal with both the trappings of fame and their loyalty to the amiable, hapless Dave. Directed by Tim Hill (GARFIELD: A TALE OF TWO KITTIES), ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS simultaneously modernizes and pays tribute to the classic title characters, who first appeared in the late 1950s and became wildly popular in the ’60s. While Lee (MY NAME IS EARL) is well cast as the perpetually exasperated Dave, Long (LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD) steals the show as the voice of Alvin, who provides the group’s lively spirit. Though some older viewers may wince at the prospect of their beloved Chipmunks rapping, the movie is generally respectful of the franchise’s long legacy, and will easily win over a younger generation.
